SCHEDULE AND STEPS FOR THE WINTER SEASON RECRUITMENT PROCESS
The winter season recruitment process begins in the month of September, once the returning staff have been confirmed. Using the website, you must complete your CV in detail and, in addition to personal and contact details, provide information about your experience and training, especially any related to the snow and ski industry.
The candidate recruitment and confirmation process takes place from that point until the end of October (generally), based on the vacancies available and profiles received. All candidates registered correctly in the website database will receive an e-mail about the vacancy to confirm whether they have been selected or not.
Candidates who have been selected will receive a pre-contract (depending on their country of origin, this is necessary to be able to travel) and the contractual conditions will be explained to them (working hours, salary, starting date).
Depending on the jobs, vacancies and other factors such as snow conditions, there are usually two starting dates: in early December (first weekend in December or last weekend in November, depending on the year) and in mid-December (before the Christmas holidays).
The work is guaranteed until 31 March. Beyond that date, depending on the closing date, snow conditions, holidays, etc., some staff will continue working until the resort closes, which is usually in mid-April.
The immigration procedures to get a residency and work permit in Andorra usually take between 3 and 7 days, depending on whether you are registering in Andorra for the first time or not, so you must arrive in the country between 7 and 10 days before your expected starting date. In any case, the SAETDE and ENSISA human resource departments will give each individual candidate specific information on dates and procedures.
